About The Event

Step into the glamorous world of the Harlem in Havana Showgirls! Experience the Rhythm of a Bygone Era: The History of Harlem in Havana! Join us for a journey through time as we celebrate the vibrant and sultry performances of the iconic Harlem in Havana showgirls. We're paying homage to the rich history and performances of the Black and Cuban women who performed burlesque, exotic, rhumba, salsa, calypso, striptease and female impersonation on Leon Claxton’s Harlem in Havana Revue in the golden age of entertainment. In partnership with Leslie Cunningham, granddaughter of the great African American impresario, Leon Claxton, one of America’s first black entertainment moguls, Leon Claxton helped spread Black and Latin music and dance to mainstream audiences during the era of Jim Crow.

  • 7:00pm Doors
  • 9:00pm Show

Don't miss this one-of-a-kind celebration of history, culture, and the dazzling artistry of the Harlem in Havana showgirls.
